Social Media Club-Cleveland members define social media

The thunder::tech team hosted the April meeting of the Social Media Club – Cleveland in our offices. SMC-Cleveland is an organization which allows members to share best practices, establish ethics and standards and promote media literacy. Meetings are casual networking opportunities that give Facebook friends and Twitter followers an opportunity to meet each other in person, sometimes for the first time. SMC-Cleveland welcomes everyone from social media experts to newbies.

Social Media Club Members enjoyed chatting in thunder::tech’s MidTown Cleveland office space and listened to a presentation by Marc Canter, co-founder of Macromedia.

During the meeting thunder::tech offered attendees the opportunity to be part of a unique video by declaring their definition of social media on camera. Members provided a variety of unique and insightful thoughts on social media.
